I need to add a counter to this blog so you all can see what sort of views we’re having here.   Until I get around to that, I’ll just keep you updated in a post.

Today, we had over 330 views!  Another great day!  More than 1,400 views since inception!

Let’s keep it up and see what we can do!  If you haven’t already, please share the site with a friend or co-worker.  We’re here to represent everyone!

Can WGU track who is posting here? I’ve been posting from another computer at home because you never know what they have on your laptop to see what web sites you go to on it and see if you leave a trail….

    Be careful!

We need more participation I know there are more people than this!

To my knowledge they would have to track via the email address that you signed in with. So therefore, if you have an email address that isn’t in your name, then they wouldn’t be able to track it from your home computer.
I think it is funny that this even has to happen in the first place. If they would do their job and listen to the employees this blog wouldn’t exist and they wouldn’t have to try and figure out who is posting on the blog.

I don’t know, maybe everyone got scared away by the recent KPIs?

Oh Captain, our Captain…..FedUp where are you?

Yes, where is he? Or at least give some of us the ability to continue posting topics of discussion!

Glad WGU picks such a safe town to hold a conference!

  10. WordPress, the blog platform here, captures the IP address of the computer you are commenting from. The blog administrator, in other words, knows where you are and, probably, who you are, no matter what email address you are using.

I’ve been with WGU for six years plus, and I know that they lay traps. I’ve heard it from the wonderful, qualified, absolutely dedicated mentors who were driven away or quit because of the change to such unrealistic expectations (OTP vs. SAP). At this point, I don’t care WHAT they do. I’d rather lay DRYWALL then allow them the knowledge I have of 20 years of teaching experience. WGU is HORRIBLY confused as to who it actually is…and I’m NOT. I look at them and wince because whoever is in charge of the Teacher’s College is a complete IMBICILE.

Oh heavens yes, this is a site TRACKED by WUG. Betrayal, just like all the mentors fired by WGU

WUG is Will Unfriend Guides. They only want the “Great places to work” survey results, and then they’ll back off.

All negative TRUTHFUL posts were removed from this site. Do NOT post anything you wouldn’t want your PM to read…even if your PM can’t read. Don’t participate in this site, PERIOD.

I have been researching WGU with the thought of applying for a mentor position there, but this site has given me pause. I’ve come across some very enthusiastic students, and all the posters here would certainly be dedicated colleagues that anyone would be pleased to have. But these postings seem to point to genuine issues that the university administration hasn’t addressed.

Are there signs of improvement? Why did this site suddenly go dead? Does anyone have advice for a prospective mentor applicant?

Let the PMs read this, the truth hurts, only a matter of time before WGU sinks under the weight of its own lies and deception.

The lack of integrity at WGU is incredible. I was there for 7 years before being forced out. I have never seen an organization run so poorly and, more importantly, so unethically!

WGU can only track this if they are running the site, so use anonymous emails from Hotmail or such.

They can track your IP Address all they want, but it does not per se have your address on it.

    I started a new one http://wguleaks.wordpress.com/

I can promise you, based on what you see there, I am not WGU management, and nothing from that site will be saved,
